The Fund to Facilitate the Development of Electric Power (hereinafter referred to as the “Fund”) has been established in accordance with the Electricity Act. It is a dedicated fund allocated by power generation, transmission, and distribution enterprises based on their power generation or transmission volume, used to give back to the communities surrounding power generation facilities. The purpose of the Fund is to promote the steady development of power infrastructure. Its scope of application covers the enhancement of residents' physical and mental health, the promotion of cultural activities, social welfare services, educational and learning resources, grassroots public infrastructure, and other public interest matters that facilitate power development and local co-prosperity, thereby fully implementing the concept of integrating power construction with community co-prosperity.
